3-day Leadership retreat

Leading with courage in a world in crisis

It’s easy to lose hope in today's world. Climate chaos, economic decline, political polarization and escalating global conflicts. Scientists panic about the future and world leaders fail to make any substantial progress on our most pressing challenges.

What does true leadership look like when the future looks so uncertain and daunting? What skills and inner resources do we need as leaders? How can we lead others with courage and compassion when times are most challenging?

This 3-day leadership retreat offers a dedicated space that allows new perspectives and insights about yourself and your relationship to the larger developments in the world.

The invitation

We invite daring leaders onto a learning journey that goes beyond the dominant narratives of blind optimism or hopeless doomism. Where we acknowledge the massive disruptions of the status quo and still find deep trust within us. A journey to purpose, clarity and confidence in times of great uncertainty.

We’ll spend a weekend with a group of ambitious leaders to immerse ourselves in the challenges of our times and cultivate the resources and skills these times call for. This retreat will stretch both, your perspective on the broader shifts in the world, and your understanding of yourself, your blindspots and what’s holding you back from leading with strong integrity.

What To Expect

We will leave traditional ideas of leadership behind and dive deep into what it means to lead as a human being in these times. This retreat is much more a self-experience for strengthening your own inner compass than a pure transmission of intellectual content.

We will cover:

Who This Will Be Most Valuable To

  • You hold responsibility for leading others and for actively shaping the direction of your organization, community or project
  • You notice the increasing disruptions in environment, economy, politics and other areas and want to develop the capabilities to lead effectively in these times
  • You believe your own development is the foundation for the way you can lead and empower others
  • You are courageous and determined to grow and you are willing to face all that is currently holding you back

What you’ll receive

  • Deep understanding of the patterns and trends between the increasing systemic failures we are currently experiencing
  • A framework to anticipate future disruptions and their impact on society and your area of leadership
  • Inner resources and tools that go deeper than conventional meditation and resilience techniques and allow you to lead with courage and compassion
  • Strengthened confidence in leading others and supporting them in their journey towards their greatest contribution
  • An understanding of your unique potential as a leader and your authentic expression of it
  • A community of inspiring leaders and new relationships for your network

Your Facilitators

We are former founders and have spent many years working with the current systemic changes (polycrisis/metacrisis) and their implications on economic and societal development.

We are convinced that a new way of looking at and dealing with global crises is needed in order to actively shape our future. And we believe in the power that lies in courageously facing change.

I would like to see a world in which the central role of emotional awareness is recognized. We need it to become more accepting of the reality of things. This is the path to real development.

Feedback From Participants

Participants value our work both as an enrichment for their strategic decisions and measures, as well as on a personal level for dealing with the upheavals of these times

“I have to say that I have never experienced a workshop that was structured like this: going inwards at regular intervals between questions deepened and slowed down my thinking (in a good way).”
Eddie Boyd
former Product Manager, Google
“The workshop was a very moving experience. From anger and sadness to inner peace, inspiration and drive, everything was there emotionally.

We took a lot from the workshop for us as a company.”
Julia Straub
Founder & Managing Director, covolution
“A wish... I'd like to see this kind of work done everywhere and grow into a movement that brings people together and raises consciousness in a contagiously inspiring way.”
Vijit Singh
Founder & Managing Director, I Wish
“This is a really interesting, much-needed approach. As society moves from avoidance to action, we need to learn to deal with some pretty 'heavy' emotions that are preventing us from dealing with the challenge as positively as we can.”
Andrew Redman
Founder & Managing Director, Realise
